Note: The website is really slow to load... This was our project as NouriSync for MIT FutureMakers. We brainstormed for weeks over what we wanted to build (The first 4 weeks are for learning, and the last two are for making the project), and decided on this: a website/app that supports eating disorder outpatient care. Our motivation for this was that one of our teammates' sisters was an ED outpatient, and we saw how it affected them. There are not many ED doctors, so her sister would have to travel all the way to Dallas, Texas, to see one, missing days of school in the process. How this works: there is a form, which the first part the patient fills out, then the second, their parent/guardian/caregiver. After they submit, an AI model analyzes this information and gives suggestions - not diagnoses, because AI models can't do that (yet) - but suggestions that would help. The user can then export their results, current and prior, in a PDF to send to their doctor. Oh there's also a second mood detection model embedded in this btw. For this project, I worked on the brainstorming and web page design, researching color schemes that are calming and would encourage the patient to answer truthfully in the form. I designed and worked on the UI for the website (like that sliding color-changing bar!) and worked on the part that the user can export the PDF. Most of my commits are in the side branches (and they were a lot of them!), such as: develop, mergetesting, and mergetestingbackup. We added fake patient information for the demo portion of the presentation, keeping the streak to 3 days so it wasn't gray by the time we presented haha but also because we wouldn't have had enough time in the presentation to fill out the form twice to show. Thank you so much for reading all of this yap! PS: I can't change the readme much unfortunately because it's a team project and idk how much of changing it they'd be okay with... so I put as much info here as possible. Lemme know if I need to add / clarify anything! Thank you again!!
