My project is a personal website/portfolio, and I made it using HTML & CSS. Originally, I started as a course project through the Girls Who Code Pathways summer program. This was where I learned the basics of HTML and CSS (headings, body, image tags, font-color, margin/padding, etc.) but after the basics I was completely self-taught! I spent about 7 hours outside the course teaching myself how divs work, how to do gradient backgrounds (and borders with rounded corners, which took forever), how to overlay and position text (and a nav bar!) on an image, how to use flexbox and align items in a flex container, and debug and position elements to make the website be more visually accessible by users. This was actually the first website I've ever made, and I'm super proud of it!
