I made TaleForge, a small browser-based writing environment that mimics the layout of a professional writing app. You can organize your chapters and notes into folders, open multiple tabs, and write directly in the built-in editor—everything saves locally in your browser. I’d actually worked on a similar project outside of Hack Club before, so I was able to reuse and improve parts of that earlier code. Originally, I wanted to build the full version of the app with more panels and intelligent writing tools, but with college applications and school going on, I didn’t have enough time to finish everything. I decided to scale it down and focus on completing the writing portion for now—and plan to keep developing it later on.
