I made this with my sister Alicia! It's an app we made for the congressional app challenge that encourages users to perform environmentally friendly actions through an impact journal, a points system that you can use to purchase plants in the virtual garden, and a stats page like a streak, leaderboard, and category breakdown! We made it using Swift and on XCode. What you do is you first write down your journal entry and attatch a photo if you want, and then it will give you a certain number of points based on the action you described in your entry. So, something big like picking invasive plants would get around 20 points, while recycling would get maybe 5 points. Then, you can spend the points in the garden by clicking on the plant you want to by and placing it in one of the plots. Once the plots are filled up you get moved to the next biome, which is rainforest, and then desert, and then you cycle through them. There's also a page for seeing past journal entries. The last page is the analytics. It has a journaling streak and you get bonus points at milestones, and a pie chart with categories of the activities. At the bottom there is a leaderboard and you can change your username. It displays the cumulative points you've earned over the entire app experience (even if you spend them, they will not be removed in the leaderboard counts).
