I made this project as a GWC pathways student, in the Data science track as a final project. This project trains a computer program to recognize hand signs from the American Sign Language (ASL) alphabet. It uses a neural network to learn from images of hand signs shows overall accuracy on training and test data, and displays a confusion matrix to show which letters are most often misidentified.
