This is my website called New Roots. I made it as a part of the Girls Who Code Pathways program this summer. We were told to research a cause that we were interested in and to make an activist website for it. I did research about immigrant and low income students and how their move from a foreign country to the US was, because I also moved to the US from India last year and went through a lot of difficulties and felt that I didnt want other students to feel the same way I did. The pathways program gave us base code and i built on the entire website from that. The website that I submitted to GWC was much simpler than the website is right now because after joining Athena, I worked more on the website and made it more resourceful and professional.
