When I started this project, I had no experience with coding. I didn’t know how websites were structured or how HTML, CSS, or JavaScript worked together. As I built this tribute page, I taught myself how to write and link these files, how to upload them to GitHub, and how to publish the website using GitHub Pages. Along the way, I learned how to troubleshoot bugs, manage file paths, and use external scripts and styles. It was a steep learning curve, but each step helped me grow more confident in my skills. By the end, I had created something meaningful and functional on my own, and I now understand how to build a live website from scratch and share it with the world. It was inspired since my mom since even at times when I was frustrated, I knew my strong mother would keep going if she were in my shoes. I liked the pink color scheme since it is soft on the eyes and a loving color.
